Discussion message Re: Put Animal Welfare At The Top Of Your Shopping List

Originally from: coleen HI Pat The 200 hours community service they received hardly sent out the right signals did it? It's always easier to get a prosecution against the single, lone person – animal owners – isn't it. Discussion message The Chief Veterinary Officer''s Annual Report!

Originally from: Farmtalking It's not what you say it's the way you say it! Or perhaps to be more accurate, this report illustrates just how much the Chief Vet's perspective differs from our own. However carefully his words were chosen there is no doubt that we are miles apart when it comes to his interpretation of the Govt's actions during and after FMD.

Discussion message RE: Cat Magazine

Originally from: Farmtalking Too right Dot! – I'll try and have a word with Nick Mays! How could he have got things so wrong? His reporting of the troubles we had with the Dangerous Dogs Act in the early 1990's was excellent and very accurate. Nick knows only too well that legislation does not have to be too specific to be devastating!
