MORE CONTROL ON ANIMALS

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know anything more about the England Implementation Group? There is also a Welsh and a Scottish one. They have had two meetings already and among the points being discussed are:-

The removal of animals from 'poor people' and the licensing and inspection of every home that has an animal in it.

Well spotted. I've been watching this group with extreme concern too.

They look like a front organisation for our mad bad State Veterinary Service to me. Certainly some of the members have close associations to industrial scale farming and have, in the past, attempted to blame smallholders for Swine Fever and FMD!

They are the worst kind of control freaks.

Perhaps they don't dare try this on in Scotland or Wales?
