Dear Ron, and so say all of us. The BCMS is a truly miraculous body, it actually can perform miracles, apparently. It certainly has brought more than one of our deceased bovine herd back to life, it has it on their statistics and, of course, unlike farmers, they NEVER make errors. Many of the political problems we are currently experiencing are due to the lack of the ability to admit to error, to apologise for it and to make recompense. Does this sound familiar to anyone ? Do they really not understand voter apathy ? It is hard to keep banging your head on the brick wall but Mark, bless his little cotton sox, does just that for what he considers is right and for the truth. How many of us can say that ? Can you "Gee" ? Frances

Val John Rog and Mark,

Which part of the phrase "WHY DO YOU NOT USE CTS" do you not understand?

Gee

What the BCMS, and the authority behind it , do not seem to understand is that in order for it to produce a database which is not totally meaningless, they need our co-operation. Treating farmers like naughty school children and punishing them for disobeying the 'letter of the law ' is quite obviously not going to achieve this. They can never prevent falsification of documents, changing of eartags, etc, but I cannot see any reason why anyone should bother to do this, other than as a direct result of the unreasonableness of BCMS. Until recently, there was a six month period of grace for passport applications. What was so wrong with this? I am sure that the quality of the data they received at this time was better than that which they are now receiving. How many people would have Mark's, moral courage and integrity over this? By far the easiest option would be a less honest solution!

You miss the point, Gee.

Why should he? Is it the law?

Perhaps you are just one of those people that gets a kick from being bossed about by nonentities.

By the way, do you have to be so gratuitously rude and offensive?

As you can see, we can all play that game – it takes us nowhere.
