Sheep Welfare.

It is rather sad to see that nothing has been learnt from 2001.
We realised then that some farmers had sheep stocks far beyond the reasonable capacity of their land.
We regularly travel past two farms where sheep are standing on bare earth, which with the heavy rain must be mud. There is nothing green on the land and there are too many sheep anyway. On one farm there was a dead sheep lying, clearly visible from the road. I am sure that if we travelled around we would find further examples.

We worry about our own fields having flooded patches, even though there is plenty of forage and dry areas.

Surely, those responsible for Animal Welfare must see this.

When will they ever learn,
Ron.

for there we see the works of God,
