A Pig''s Tale

A pig to market one morning had to go
But he didn't say yes, he didn't acquiesce
He just said "NO".
The farmer gave it a push and he gave it a shove
But the pig he simply could not move.
Some hours had passed and the pig he slept
Into the pen two pig-men crept.
Pig half opened one small eye
And he saw two strangers in his stye.
Well, the pig put up a very bonny fight
Eventually the two men took to flight
The farmer, he let pig have his way,
His bacon was saved for another day.
And the pig, I hear you ask, "What was his fate ?"
Oh,next to the eggs on the farmers' breakfast plate !
