Fw: Complete War Coverage From CBSNews.com

Dear Friends in the
U.K.
Whether
we all like it or not.....we're at War.
The media is restricted in its reporting of events.
Some other countries, other than the U.S, Australia or the U.K media, constantly update the "programmed" reporting of events.
Just like the "programmed" reporting of FMD in the U.K. two years ago.
Both our governments' now regulate our news.
Had I never participated with these groups we've had.......I would have never made this statement.
You all welcomed me....we argued, we bickered, we supported one anther to come to these understandings.
These are now very trying times.....for you folks in the U.K. and for meant my friends here in Kansas, too.
Whether we like the outcome of the present situation is really not an issue. ...because like-minded people, regardless of their home, see things eye-to-eye.
Now, we all have been infected by another virus callled War.
How we all deal with this one, and relate to one another, may well be one of the most important things we can do in our lives.
I happen to think that I am really a decent person who cares for his fellow man, regardless of his home in whatever country he may reside.
I also think that we can speak and say what we think, without being admonished, or criticized for voicing our views. Without doing so, thereby limits the potential for discussion or settlement of any issue that is on the table.
Some of you may consider my statement, now, an "editorial."
You are, totallly, entitled to your point of view.
For me, I did not like what was happening in the U.K. two years ago, with regard to the ways and means FMD was being handled by MAFF and DEFRA. I still think it was mis-leading and dealt with by policies in the U.K. held-over from years-gone-by.
But , thanks to these groups....individual contributions of the members of these groups.......some Progress has been , and is, being made.
That's just one reason why , I continue to read the posts of the manymemembers.......sometimes making a reply ....or just saying...."Hang in there."
Now, that we're in War, together, let's all hope and pray it can be resolved
quickly, with a minimum loss of both Brits and Americans, and can resolve the issues served to us by your Prime Minister Blar and my President Bush.
I do not, never will and don't intend to subscribe to War as a settlement of differences of opinion of World Leaders.
But I do support the efforts of yours and my people involved, because of the fact, that they are our military, who may lose their lives following the orders of the so-called "Leaders" our peoples have put in office to get us all involved in this mess.
