They obviously prefer the north west judging by the noise coming from my willows each night! Joyce

I certainly agree Joyce there is no shortage of sparrows in the North West. We have approximately 30 to 40 of them roosting in the ivy on the front of the house.

Shirley is constantly complaining about droppings outside the front door and the terrible racket the little creatures make each morning at first light. I can usually get back to sleep but she often gets up to do some cleaning or ironing before going to work at the surgery.

She has become a little tetchy of late and things came to a head the other morning when she said "either those ----- sparrows go or I do" I therefore wondered if anyone out there had any spare accommodation at reasonable rent, possibly a mobile home or caravan?

Shame on you Bill!!!!!
Don't forget you'll have to do your own cleaning and ironing instead of going back to sleep.... Actually it's starlings in our far North north west!
Like a scene from 'The Birds' at dusk.
Joyce
