My apologies to those members of this group who receive messages direct as e-mail. I had a new member join the group whose sole purpose it seems was to try to sell some 'get rich qick' sceheme. This has happened before and I deleted the message as soon as I saw it and will 'bar' his postings in future. I suppose it is natural, that as the group becomes better known we will fall victim to the ocassional 'legal' spam of this nature! I do my best to monitor the postings but cannot guarantee you won't receive any more – but I do hope not!!

I've noticed a recent thread which appears to have started on another group but has found its way onto the Farmtalking message board.

As I'm not a member of that group, I'm at a loss to understand it all but it seems to have escalated to include distasteful remarks about a member of this list, from someone who is not.

It is therefore my intention to delete this thread as insulting remarks from any source serve no purpose and will not be tolerated on this Farmtalking message board.
