Hi Hilary ,Jane & all

Just a few rambling thoughts,
A march or a slow drive which starts with a meeting, demo or event of some kind to attract press interest.
Then sets off slowly toward its next meeting/rallying point, and so on until it eventually gets where it is heading.
just might grow in size as it proceeds, as people hear about it, and might be temped to join in, much as happened with the Aldermaston Marches. Just a thought, having been on all of the London demos, and been so dissapointed with the low turnout due I feel to the lack of publicity at a general public level.
If we are going to do it, lets make a BIG noise about it, people setting out from different areas , doing so as flamboyantly as possible , and all meeting up at a central point to begin the Drive.

luv Dot Thinking BIG :)

Thanks.
Yes. I agree.
We must think big, if at all.
I too was greatly discouraged by low turnout in Carlisle and Sedgefield. Better not to do it at all.
Then Skipton and Clitheroe wer huge successes and very cheering, although still no change of policy.
Is there ANYTHING we can do except wait until the blood lust passes? Hilary
