I have discovered since my mother died that her smallholding in Lancashire has an Agricultural Occupancy Clause in the deeds.
Since FMD I have had difficulty letting the land (10 acres) for grazing. Letting the bungalow has been easier but difficult to keep an eye on from Scotland.
I am now thinking about selling the property but understand this clause is likely to reduce the valuation.
Can anyone get me started down the correct route to having this clause withdrawn, the agricultural situation is rather different now to when the property was built in the 50's.
Thanks
Mona
