Really George, (Gee), I think you have a confounded cheek to address comments such as yours to Mark. Mark's record stands up to any scrutiny. What exactly has your contribution been to the many problems besetting British farming.

I assume you read some part of the farming press, in which you will see other voices expressing the identical views as those of Mark. The suggestion of a system of fines has been made more than once.

It is the supine attitude such as yours that allowed the Massacre of 2001 to be carried out. The figures would have been higher if it had not been fought by a small group of determined people.

Do you think the French farming community would allow this to happen, I do not have much time for the French, but, I think they have much to teach us in dealing with officialdom.
