Hi,
Why should challenging a bureaucratic injustice damage my credibility ? We seem to be talking at cross purposes here. You are assuming that I had not posted my cattle passport applications in reasonable time to meet the legal deadlines, whilst I am proclaiming that I did put the applications in the post several days before the 27 day deadline of the animal in question.
If BCMS do not play it fair, then I will issue a summons against them by the end of the week with a five pound-a-day fine for every day that they continue to refuse to issue a license. I will also expose the social-ecological scandal of government legislation removing healthy food from the food chain. This counter productive policy of incinerating healthy cattle has happened one too many times in recent years. It has become a sick habit of western governments
Had I been in the wrong here, then a mere fine is a much more appropriate means of bollocking those who do actually commit the crime of late applications. Why deprive the global foodchain of healthy food ?? Its an insanity.
Best,
mark.
