I'll gladly take a lie detector test about the origins of fmd. But it would be fiddled by the government.
What has genuinely astonished, is the widespread cover-up of EVERY animal health epidemic throughout the English speaking world. The immediate response of the veterinary industry is cover up. Governments seem to trail along behind out-manoeuvred by a bunch of bent vets. By the time they find out what is going on they have been implicated.
Its not just vets either. Look at the recent Asian Flu fiasco in the US. Fancy sending live virus all over the place! At least the US government owned up in the end. You would never have got any such admission from Britain's vets, civil service or government.
