Who on earth wrote their script tonight.
Here we go again.
Cattle ate infected sheep---BSE
Because smokies are made illegally from the whole sheep, any age any health status, no spinal cord removed, then people eating smokies can get BSE The whole smokies business is horrendous, who knows how the poor sheep are killed and then for one carcase to command a price from £120-£200 it can only encourage struggling farmers to join in.
Many of the sheep are stolen so of course could just have been wormed or given medication.
The reporters had no trouble purchasing smokies in Brixham, so various faces caught on camera.
Much was made of health risks, none of the process or transport being regulated but Joe Public probably now thinks yet again that eating sheep meat can give you BSE
