Can you believe it ? Yes, of course, you've seen it before. They do not know what to do about the TB situation so (1) The figures are now falling ( so thats reassuring, isn't it? ) (2) If they aren't then its the dirty farmers who are at fault for, (wait for it and do not fall about laughing, because this is a serious problem ), not barricading their farms against the invading badgers. Do we live in the same world as these people ? Do they believe their own fantasies ? Do they feel embarrassed when they give out such press releases ? Have Messrs Morley and Beckett disappeared off the planet?( mustn't get our hopes up). This , as usual ,some sort of diversionary tactic, tried and trusted to get the NFU and the old guard all riled up about that whilst something else is happening which they don't want a lot of discussion about is going down. They still believe that rural people have a limited amount of neurones and their brains are still shrink -wrapped and virtually unused. But we have seen it all before and its like a pantomime but its not Christmas. We have villains in plenty but where is the hero or heroine ? What's more to the point, where's the happy ending ?
