Perhaps, I think I know where you are talking about though. That
hotspot has connections with up here in SW Scotland which was the
first in my locality to go down. I predicted every farm more or less
in sequence after that one. I also suggested culling all the "field
lice" as they were in those days which if it had been done there and
then would have been a good job well done. As it was it all happened
too late and became a farce led from a control room by people with no
local knowledge.
As I think I know the area you were walking in can i ask was it late
July?
What did this group make of all the top marksmen drafted into the
Keilder area about a month before the outbreak? Was this group on the
go then or did evolve after?
