I went to Mark Purdey's lecture at Penrith today.

Absolutely brilliant, for one man to have travelled so far and amassed so much research and data is amazing. How the scientific community can choose to ignore him is beyond belief. Though I suppose the madness of the FMD Horror should leave us to expect anything.

I think we should suspect anything that the agricultural scientific community tells us. Scrapie testing in particular worries me, I cannot see any justification for it and the castration/slaughter policy really frightens me.
