Subject: [farmtalking] Slightly OT -The raw feeding List!I think the following from Karen, might be of special interest to Coleen
and Lina including the Yahoo List mentioned... and others of course!
"The moderators of the Raw Feeding list are pleased to have Dr. JohanJoubert as our guest on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday--October 5, 6, and 7.
Dr. Joubert, a native of South Africa, did his undergraduate work inZoology, Botany, and Entomology, ultimately planning to become a veterinarian. His studies were interrupted by military service, where he assisted in facial trauma and oral construction of war victims, laying the ground work for his future in dentistry and oral surgery.
Following the war, Dr. Joubert qualified as the first private animaldentist in South Africa in 1990. Dr. Joubert studied under Prof. Fran Verstraete and went on to manage the Dental Clinic at the Faculty of Veterinary Science at Ondertepoort, South Africa. Dr. Joubert has since relocated to the United Kingdom. His practice is based in Denton where he performs first-opinion and referral dentistry for a group of three practices.
Dr. Joubert will be available to answer questions of list members aboutveterinary dentistry and oral surgery. He will also discuss periodontal disease, a silent killer.
Dr. Joubert is a strong advocate of feeding carnivores a species
appropriate diet. He will also address the harm inflicted by the pet foodindustry and its supporters in the veterinary community.
Dr. Joubert WILL NOT answer questions regarding a specific pet's healthcondition or diagnose, sight unseen, on line.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Joubert to the raw feeding list.To join the raw feeding list: mail
