I had this discussion on LAWS (Labour Animal Welfare Society) I was laughed at when I wrote that we were able to tell the difference between vaccinated meat and none vaccinated meat.
I sent them to the relevant pages on Warmwell, even Bryn helped me out. Still disbelief – and why? Because I along with the help of others had more knowledge then they did. So they chose to ignore the TRUTH – believing the Government spin. This is the problem even when presented to people in BLACK and WHITE, it is not the truth unless it has the Government seal of approval stamped all over it.
Sure progress is great – but not at the cost of by passing what we already have, and are not allowed to use. No one tells parents not to use any available vaccinations because a better one will be along in five years. This is pure and simply a 'run around' at our expense, not forgetting the animals also
It is a disgrace when other Countries most of them less advanced then us can and do offer better health care to their animals. Perhaps the drugs they use were developed here – but at least they are using them. Oh to be given that choice.
You can just hear it can't you. "What a pity this outbreak happened now and not 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 years down the line. We have invested millions in a vaccine and test that would have prevented this" – and on it goes.
