I am also a little worried about the Mark Purdey theory now being given some credance by DEFRA. Will they carry on killing for another 10 or 15 years to try to find out if manganese is involved.

The real issue is whether or not so-called TSE's are transmissible, which it would appear they are not. No more transmissible than any other degenerative diseases such as diabetes or arthritis!
