Tonight I watched Breaking The Silence, a Special Report by John Pilger on
ITV 1.

It concerned America's overseas 'adventures'. That's the kindest I can
describe it.

The program is unlikely to be shown in the US of A and if it is it will

not

be on a National Network. I won't go in to details, but to say when will
Americans stop deluding themselves?

Oh, and just for the record, despite what Tom Cruise is going to produce,
America did not win The Battle of Britain. There were just 12 Americans in
the RAF. The one who is going to be the hero flew over 40 missions, never
shot anything down and I understand killed himself in a crash-landing.

What

with The Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan and Enigma, you would think
the British and the Empire had nothing to do with the war.

America had absolutely nothing to do with Enigma!!!! It was the British
Navy.

So stop being sorry for us America, you have big, big problems already in
place. Ours have yet to arrive, but we've done quite well for a thousand
years and ultimately we will sort out our current bunch of crooks,
brainless, *******, *****, that at present control our wonderful country.
