Labour MP John Cryer for Hornchurch has joined an internet campign aginst GM crops organised by Deptford MP Joan Ruddock.

In the Essex Enquirer John Cryer says "There is no way I support growing GM crops in Brittain. I am extremely pleased that we now have GM labelling but we should go further and have a ban on all commercial planting until we have definitive evidence as to whether they pose a danger to human health."
