Where was I ? Oh , yes. I must be one of the only people in this area that does not keep horses. I will find out an answer to your question soon.

They certainly need one , no doubt there , but the cost I am not sure on. Even my farm dogs are micro chipped and vacinated up to the eyeballs. They have passports as well ( legal requirement ) It means they can travel within the EU with us. Not that I can imagine taking them in a car 50 metres let alone 500kms !

The rabies jab is the one that authorites are hot on here. Its still the usual over reaction ( in my opinion ) the last case of a human getting rabies here was in 1922.
