Thought you may be interested to know Preston City Council will be looking for a Senior Environmental Health Officer, salary scale up to £112,000 per annum.

Apparantly no previous experience will be required as the previous holder of this post, James Robertson, was a convicted murderer on licenced release from Glasgow's Barlinnie Jail. (The Bar L).

Robertson was re-arrested earlier this year for attacking someone with an axe in a Preston curry restaurant. In July he was sentenced to five years for the axe attack and re-called on his life sentence for murder.

Yesterday he received a further life sentence for the brutal assault and attempted rape of an 18 year old Preston girl. (He was charged for this one on DNA evidence obtained consequent to his arrest for the axe attack).
