I hope and I pray that we are never threatened with a 'terrorist attack'. For all the reasons that innocent lives would be lost – but also because this Government of ours could not manage a FMD outbreak. A relatively harmless 'virus' that if caught and handled correctly can be halted with very little distress to anyone (animals included).

We are being told that a 'smallpox' attack is not out of the question along with whatever else the terrorists can get their hands on.

Let us not forget that the vast majority of the people in this Country have NO idea how the Government handled FMD (or rather DID NOT handle it). Those of us unfortunate enough to witness their gross incompetence, look on in fear that this is the same bunch of people who are going to 'protect' us should this awful event happen.

They had NO statutory or planning to handle FMD – are we really meant to believe they could handle a terrorist attack.

What games men in power play.

FMD has been written off – after all most of us lied and made up all the horror stories (we must have all had the same nightmares – repeatedly) What excuses lie ready and waiting to cover up this folly of going to war – when we simply do not have the resources to protect our own people.
