Dear John,
in the report you read Paul Sutmoler was referring to cattle.Paul has subsequently written to Alicia Eykyn to apologise as his memory had failed him and the incident as reported did not, repeat not, occur ! A retraction should have been published sooner but pressure of work (as in remunerated ) got in the way.
