Hi Jane, saw your comment on imported meat. The most recent reply (15/2/02) to a PQ from Brinkhorst, Dutch Ag. Minister about meat from Argentina is points out the following.
1. The EU decided to allow imports of Argentinian boneless meat (from over 40.000 animals) from several regions, providing it has pH lower than 6.0 and has not been vaccinated during the last 30 days. This apparently concerns “a highly sought after and much valued Hilton Beef”).
